Seorang
suami yang membagikan pengalamannya ketika merawat istri yang sedang
sakit hingga akhir hayat baru-baru ini menuai sorotan publik.
Sebab, dedikasinya yang begitu luar biasa membuat orang-orang menjadi terharu.

Dalam beberapa foto yang diunggah, tampak seorang pria bernama Damar Kuncoro sedang merawat istrinya yang sedang sakit.
Adapun
Damar menjelaskan bahwa istrinya menderita asites perut, yakni kondisi
di mana rongga abdomen terisi cairan yang berlebihan. Sehari-hari,
selama delapan tahun terakhir, ia menjaga dan merawat sang istri
tercinta dengan penuh kasih sayang.
“Memang aku orang
yang tidak mampu, tapi aku akan terus berjuang dalam ketidakmampuanku
untuk kebahagiaan orang-orang yang aku sayangi. Maafkan ayah yang belum
bisa membahagiakan kalian berdua,” kata Damar di salah satu unggahannya.
Dari salah satu foto, tampak Damar dengan sabar memandikan istrinya.
Sementara
di unggahannya yang lain, ia selalu menemani sang istri, mulai dari
berbaring di rumah hingga perawatan ke rumah sakit.
Salah
satu yang membuat warganet sangat terharu ketika sang istri menangis di
pundak Damar. Pria yang sehari-hari berjualan teh tarik dan menjadi
kuli tersebut selalu jadi tempat bersedih buat sang istri.
“Menangislah
di pundakku. Aku akan terus berjuang demi kesembuhanmu, apa pun akan
aku lakukan buat kesembuhanmu,” kata Damar kepada istrinya.
Pada
11 Mei lalu, Damar membawa sang istri ke instalasi gawat darurat (IGD).
Namun sayang, sehari berselang, ia mengumumkan bahwa sang istri
tercinta telah mengembuskan napas terakhirnya.
“Mohon maaf apabila istriku banyak salah di masa hidupnya,” ujar Damar.
Tepat
di hari raya Idul Fitri 1442 Hijriah, pada 13 Mei 2021, Damar
mengunggah momen ketika dirinya dan sang putri kecil melakukan ibadah
salat Id.
Ia lalu mengenang ketika tahun lalu masih bertiga bersama sang istri tercinta.
“Kita
salat sunah berdua. Tahun kemarin masih ada bunda. Dedek mudah-mudahan
ibu diampuni semua dosa-dosanya dan berada di surga-Nya,” ungkap Damar.
Kini unggahan tersebut pun viral, dicuitkan oleh lebih dari 6 ribu kali di Twitter dan total disukai oleh ratusan ribu orang.
